Since 1967 I have lived in the Winona MN. area. It is nice to be a half hour away from my family in La
crosse. I still think of myself as a " cheesehead" after all my years in Mn. GO PACK!
I have worked part-time in the restaurant industry most of my working career often as a dining room manager. Working in food service is challenging but I have met many interesting and fun people. Outside of work my interests are gardening, antiqueing, traveling and time with my family. Recently, geneology has become a huge hobby and I have put together ancestral trees for all sides of my family.
My husband Mark and I spend a month or more in Destin, Fl. each year- it has become a second home. We just returned from there last week and I have to report the weather was fantastic. We like to refer to ourselves as senior breakers. It is true that the 60s are the new 40s.

This wasn't funny then but as I look back....
In my junior year I had not missed one day of school. One morning I was really sick and stayed home. The next day when I returned to class Asst. Principal Celine called me to the office and gave me a lecture about skipping school. I pleaded my case that I really was sick-just call my Dad.
Well, the culprit was my brother Bob (a sophomore) who had told her I was feeling fine after she inquired about my absence. I never did convince her. Thanks Bob.
