i would sincerely like to know who left "catcher in the rye" under my desk in sr. modesta's communication skills class. i took it, read in 3 days (in school), then returned. i knew the novel was on the legion of decency's list of banned books for catholic boys. nothing wrong with reading banned books. i hope you left it there intending to pass on. did anybody else pick it up? i wonder if sr. carola ever read it as she was crazy for good lit. i personally know she collected ian flemming's james bond novels. one was confiscated from me.>>>
