Since 1990? Well that was just yesterday, wasn't it? After I graduated from UW-L, Matt and I got married and moved to Austin, Texas. I jumped into the wedding industry in Austin by opening a wedding and event consulting firm. In 2004, I started the only state licensed wedding certification school (www.nuptialessentials.com) and in 2006 I started our national association (www.associationofweddingprofessionals.com). We have three kids- Noah (avid baseball player), Emerson (ballet guru) and Abby (the youngest who keeps up with the older ones). With weddings, baseball (45 weeks out of the year.. yes, you can do that in Texas) and dance, there is never a dull moment in our house.
