Tammy Gilbreath Thomas

After leaving LaFayette High School, I remained at home for one year and attended Dalton Jr. College. I then transferred to West Georgia College. Of course, I'm so old now that neither of those colleges go by those names anymore. I met my husband while at West Georgia, and he was a Carrollton boy...so, here I've remained. I have been at Central Middle School since 1992 in the roles of business education teacher, 6th grade ELA teacher, and now the media specialist. My oldest son will graduate from UWG on April 30 and could possibly be teaching at the same school with me. Both of my children plan to become teachers and coaches. Since they no longer play sports, Alan and I just watch whatever they are coaching as they are both lay coaches for Central.

Okay...I know anyone who knows me remembers that I wore a back brace in high school, right? Well, does anyone remember when I took flight down the B-Annex steps...while wearing the brace?
