John Phillips

I left Lafayette High in my Junior year. My mother got a good job in Oklahoma. We lived there till 82 then moved back to La Fayette. I moved back to Oklahoma by myself in January of 83. I only stayed 5 months. I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything. In 83 I went to work for an independent drug store called S & J Drugs. I worked there till November of 07. I loved my job. Few people get a chance to do something they love for 25 years. I met my wife at work. We were married for 9 years. I have 2 Great children. I’ve been single for 6 years and have gotten used to it. That’s good and bad. I now work for Rite Aid in Red Bank TN. I’ve been with the company for a year and a half. It’s a huge change. I have lived in Trenton Ga since 94. I still own property in La Fayette but I like it here. I live three minutes from the Wilderness Drive In. Remember the old Blue Sky in La Fayette. That’s were I first saw Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. They closed it down after the Dr Hook concert.
