Paula Snider Dowda was a classmate of ours; and while she didn't graduate on time, if she had, she would have been a member of our class. She died suddenly, of a brain aneurysm at the age of 25. She is survived by 2 sons and 1 daughter. Her former husband was David Dowda--also a LaFayette graduate. She will be missed.

I miss Paula very much. I remember going to her house and eating mac and cheese and only mac and cheese. She called me on Homecomng football game during our freshmen year to ask me if I wanted to go to the Elton John concert with her and her mother. Needless to say, I missed that football game that night, but WHAT A CONCERT. Paula was loved and is greatly missed.Annette Stephens (Railey)
Paula has an older son, named Chris and a daughter whose name I do not know. She will for sure be greatly missed! I know I will not ever forget her, it's hard to believe that she was lost at such a young age. I feel blessed to have the years I have had! She passed away at the age of 25, in 1995.Tina Penson (Payne)
