06/17/09 07:17 AM #298     Deron Martin I'm glad everyone's O.K. and Officer Aalbers didn't have to pull you guys over with Stark, who doesn't talk, E.J., who apparently can write but can't remember anything, and Glen, who can only remember guys by their size when he's PLAYING WITH BALLS. Glen gained an hour coming here from Colorado, I wish he would have asked me how to use it. You know, so he wouldn't forget me this time. Anyone still want pics?

Also, you 3 don't have a Facebook page and well frankly most of us do and you are missing out! So get one and post them all there too and hit us up. We might be your friends....lol.

Melanie and I were planning on coming together, but with her mom passing in November and the sudden death of her father this month, she has so much going on that it is impossible. I have recently started back to work and it seems that I cannot get my schedule to work and get the time off to fly out even for the weekend! I know it will be a HUGE success and a ton of FUN!! I was bored with my old bio so I just started messing around with it one night and came up with that little blurb about us. I'll probably change it again before the reunion. Speaking of the reunion, if anyone has any ideas about how we can generate more interest, PLEASE LET US KNOW! It is too late for us to cancel it - yes, we've already checked! There is a HUGE cancellation fee and the only vendor willing to refund our deposit is the DJ so we are STUCK! I realize the tickets seem expensive, but the price includes all of your food, wine and beer. The only thing you will have to pay for is hard liquor. We've gotten a discount on the hotel rates and I was thinking about asking some hair and nail salons if they'd give us discounts on hair cuts, color, up-do's, mani's and pedi's. Anyone have any connections with hair stylists? We need to try to do anything we can to help our fellow classmates afford this reunion. If you are married and you have the money for your spouse to go but for some reason they can't, how about sponsoring another student? We could start an anonymous fund for students who can't afford to go so no one would have to feel weird. Please feel free to post your thoughts! Karen

06/26/09 08:25 PM #306     Nathan Fox Come on guys, buy your tickets. I don't want this to be some lame 12 person reunion. I know that I have not done this yet, but pay day is a comin'. Now if I'm gonna be there, everyone should be. Geez I was so far outside the cliques that I honostly remember the faces but not the people behind them. Maybe I was just anti-social or something. Any way, there is going to be food and beer and who can't eat and drink $80 worth of food and beer. Hell at $20 a plate and $7 a beer it adds up quick. Quit making excuses, get a designated driver, and show up. Holding out til the day of the reunion and buying tickets at the door is just lame. Besides that, you would have to drink more beer to make up the difference.......Hey maybe you're on to something. Cheers

Karen, Lindie and I have been working on it for a year and a 1/2. I have put up over $2,000 of my own money in deposits and get it started. We can not cancel it because the cancel fee is A LOT and it's my name on the dotted line for the contract. We have worked hard to put this reunion together and know it will be a great time!!! We want to see most of you there, come on! There won't be another reunion for at least 10 more years after this.

06/29/09 09:12 PM #309     Dawn Doss I would hope that everyone would please get there. I have had to starve myself for this reunion and I am quite hungry! Plus all the tricks to make myself look young and thin. I have also been working on great success stories that will go to waste if you don't come. I want the chance to tell them. Plus....I put a deposit on some young stud to come be my "boyfriend" for the night and he is non refundable as well. I have worked hard to prep for my 20 year reunion. So get it in gear and make sure you hound all that you are still in touch with. Or we will have to open up the tix. sales to all NTHS grads that we might know...and well that would just not be right to make them come to the 89 reunion. I am old and this is important to make me feel better.....please....come and make me feel better about myself....LOL. Just kidding. But if it works... let me know.

In all seriousness, Sherry and her girls did a great job finding a very reasonable price for our reunion. I just had lunch with a friend yesterday who also has her reunion this summer. Her ticket price is $110 and ONLY 2 drinks. And that's in Boise, not Sun Valley prices ;-) Ours sounds like a screaming deal. And from my list above, you can see that the reunion ticket is the lowest thing I have to purchase, which is the most important one. So if you are just procrastinating, get your butt online and purchase your ticket NOW! Sherry and her girls worked so hard planning this, let's not let her down. Hope to see you all at the reunion! It was starting to look very bleak but I can see that people are finally starting to RSVP & register for their tickets!! Yay!!! Sherry and I are keeping some of the best parts of the reunion a surprise so all we can tell you is that it's going to be worth it!!! Sherry, did we decide that we're going to wrestle in red or green jello? :)

There are some things we could not get deposits back on so we need a total of 100 people to be able to not have any more money out of my pocket. We are at 78 right now. Come on peeps! So I will be going to Canada instead, grrr. Getting old sucks!I miss you all and love the web-site and seeing you all on facebook. I hope you have a great turn out and get lots of pics for the web-site. I will keep in touch! I hope you do too! Thank you Sheri and team for all your hard work. I am sure Travis Sugermann will drink up my share, lol.
