Not sure if I'll be there - but I may be. Wife and I will be travelling about that time, doing a "great circle" to visit family and friends on a much-needed road trip...
I'll be frank - school itself bored me to tears. Had more fun taking courses at Purdue on the week-ends.
So, high school/college.
Enlisted in the Air Force.
Lived for a while.
Got married (and how many people who knew me ever thought I'd find someone who could put up with me that well? Always unconventional - she's 17 years older than I am, and we've been together for 12 years, married for ten)
Went to college (again - didn't finish due to trauma)
Had to create my own job, and I'm workin' at it. Economy's bad enough, and who wants someone who is going to miss about a third of his days, and has a bad case of CRS?
But - dammit - I keep at it! Whatever it is I'm here to do, I haven't done it yet. I've been dead twice now, but the world hasn't seen the last of me...
