I'm pretty sure that all of our AHS Debate Team stories would qualify, but most of them would get me arrested...

I've somehow survived being a debate geek in school ;)

Ok, so my secret crush was Shannon Rabalais Jones (neé Shannon Rabalais)....

So I know everyone knows were like complete nerd rivals and even ran against each other FROSH year for Student Council President...but the truth is I had a serious crush on her from the first day we met...

Which I'm happy to admit (and I'm sure she's embarrassed now for me to share) I was able to finally act upon after we went to a George Jones concert at the Cajun Dome our Senior Year...thought now that I think of it, maybe I was a total wimp and it was Sadie Hawkins and she asked me out? My mind is playin' tricks on me, perhaps...

Ahh, the memories...they fade so soon but come to life I suppose every 10 or 20 years...mostly when there's alcohol supplied, I've noticed.

And really, who here expected to read that I went to a Country music concert as an (almost) adult...though if anyone had to guess who could convince me to do it, I'm pretty sure Shannon would be at the top of the list ;)

To be completely honest, it WAS a Sadie Hawkins dance and I am pretty sure Jennifer Hyde and Phil Mayeux (as co-consipirators) and Toby Lagneaux's camp (wasn't that place THE source of most AHS High School Debauchery?) were all somehow involved in the event...
