Video Editor & Videographer

Location
Lagos, NIGERIA

Job Objectives:
The Video Editor & Videographer will primarily be responsible for editing videos. As part of this role the candidate will also be required to contribute towards concepting, directing and filming as well as motion graphics. They will essentially be the project manager for each video production. The candidate will also need to be able to produce high quality material suitable for TV broadcasts.

Job Description: 
- The ability to edit video recordings to a very high standard in order to produce material for campaigns, events, fundraising challenges etc. 
- The ability to create and edit motion graphics to an excellent standard using a variety of software listed (but not limited to) below: Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X (Mac) 
- To be able to deliver Broadcast Quality production including TV Ads and short documentaries 
- Required to have knowledge and understanding of most matters relating to videography, Photography, lighting for capturing stills 
- Required to have knowledge and understanding of various filming techniques such as Indoor and outdoor filming, ‘filming on the go’, interview based filming. 
- Set up and operate various production equipment including cameras, audio, video recorders, lighting equipment and microphones for location and studio production 
- To work closely with the Fundraising and Marketing Team in order to deliver creative and original ideas and write good quality scripts 
- Assist in developing interview questions and storyboards 
- Will need to use a good level of Photoshop skills to be able to retouch, create cut-outs, resize and save out stills in the correct formats 
- To be able to determine what camera equipment are necessary and obtain equipment 
- Accurately archive existing video assets. Create archiving standards for future use, such as naming conventions and file size/type requirements. 
- Maximizing networking opportunities and regularly using conferences, events and trade shows to increase awareness and develop a further network of contacts

Job Requirements
- Applicant will need to present a video portfolio of original work
- A University Degree preferably in a Film/production related field
- A relevant qualification in video editing/videography
- Candidate must be able to demonstrate proven experience in Video Editing
- Experience in Videography
- Experience of working in a corporate environment
- Experience in editing both long & short form video content

Architect

Location
Lagos, NIGERIA


Job Objectives: 
Designing new buildings, alterations, extensions, or restoration projects. Working with clients to ensure their designs are functional and within budgetary restraints.

Job Description: 
- Meeting with clients to discuss project objectives, needs, and budget 
- Preparing and presenting design proposals, including detailed drawings of finished buildings, renovations, or restorations 
- Meeting with construction professionals and clients to discuss feasibility of designs 
- Reviewing local rules and regulations to ensure the construction project falls within all constraints 
- Creating detailed drawings and specifications for architectural projects 
- Specifying the materials needed for construction of projects 
- Working with computer-aided design software to create blueprints and images 
- Working with contractors, surveyors, and building service engineers to create a construction schedule and bring the designs to fruition 
- Coordinating work between various contractors 
- Supervising construction of buildings to ensure projects meet deadlines, stay on budget, and adhere to the original vision for the design 
- Visiting proposed locations and building sites 
- Resolving issues that come up during construction 
- Participating in project management throughout the construction

Job Requirements 
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Design or related field (M.Arch preferred) 
- Extensive experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office 
- Familiarity with Revit Software highly desirable 
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
