Leonard Shane Carlisle, born on August 13, 1963, in Marietta, Georgia, passed away on March 28, 2025, in Taylors, South Carolina.
He was 61 years old. Shane was a dedicated technician in the recreational vehicle industry, known for his meticulous work and commitment to excellence.
Shane was blessed to have shared the last 26 plus years with the love of his life, Erin Unsel, who he met while living in Kentucky. He and Erin moved around a bit before deciding to call South Carolina their home in 2004. Shane had a huge heart and would help anyone in need. He also had a great fondness for motorcycles and for jeeps.
In addition to his love, Erin, he is survived by his beloved family; including his brothers, Alex Adams, Shannon Turk, Carey Carlisle, and Mike Carlisle; his sisters, Lynette Carlisle, Beverly Clackum and Dane Prichett; and his precious pups, Penny and Gunner. As well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Shane was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Carlisle and Cheryl Caylor; and two brothers, Tony Carlisle and Eric Adams.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
