Mr. Stanley Tigner, 46 of LaGrange, a native of Mountville, Georgia was born February 16, 1963 and was the son of the late Artie Tigner and Mary Pearl Tigner. He was a 1981 graduate of Troup High School and was employed as a machine operator at West Point Stevens. He was a member of South Park Avenue Church of Christ.

Survivors include three sisters, Wyomia (Thomas) Neely, Atlanta, Glennie (Bobby) Parks, LaGrange, Fannie Tigner, LaGrange; two brothers, Robert Tigner, Atlanta, Daniel Tigner, LaGrange; one aunt, Ola Mae Gates, LaGrange; special cousin, Mary Lou Gates, Milwaukee, Wis.; godmother, Lucille Towns; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Leon Tigner.

The funeral service will be Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 2:00PM at the South Park Avenue Church of Christ. Brother Ronnie Nation will officiate. Burial will be in the Needmore Cemetery.
