MIRACLE & MYSTERY!"

I know I lied and said I'd keep in touch but it's better late than never!  The mega-reunion committee works hard at trying to gather all of school mates for homecoming.  Each of you has the responsibility to pay your dues so that we can put the event together.  It costs to rent buildings, get supplies, to prepare foods and drinks and pay what other fees are necessary; like security, use of kitchen facilities, insurance.  You cannot pay at the last minute or at the door because that is too late.  A lot of our schoolmates are waiting for a free party.  I am not happy that many accuse us of stealing money and don't want to pay any monies or say they didn't know about it.  It amazes me how so many  people know when and where to show up for festivities when they don't know about it.  Class of 1975 stood out as a unified and harmonious group of people.  Forty years later we should be the top supporters of the mega-reunion. Let's not be blinded by pettiness and selfishness, for these moments create memories for the rest of our lives.  PS  I like going back and reading the crazy things I write on this page.  I like reading what ya'll write too!  Mack Curry, Hapi Birthday to you too!

Hi Jackie, I like your comments. I wish I could be there for the reunion but I can't. I will look forward to seeing the pictures.

Mack Curry

Hello Jackie, hope all is well and Happy Birthday to you too.  You always had a way with words and know what to say at the most appropriate time.  Hello to the rest of the class, you know Jackie is right and I quote  "Class of 1975 stood out as a unified and harmonious group of people.  Forty years later we should be the top supporters of the mega-reunion. Let's not be blinded by pettiness and selfishness, for these moments create memories for the rest of our lives".  Even though she like going back and reading the crazy things she writes on this page that statement above hit the nail on the head.  I too have fallen short, believe it or not, whether we're in the city or not we should be supporting the reunion..  I made it back last year and thoroughly enjoyed myself, that brief moment almost brought me to tears.  So whether there or not if possible we should support this so when we are able to be there it will still be occuring.  I do hope to send my monetary contribution to the cause, a small one just to do my part somewhat.  This website alone is priceless, comments made by my spouse on numerous occassions and I agree.  Ya'll take care.  Good to see you resurfaced Bro. Victor.

Aubery asked me to forward names for the memorial service to be held during the homecoming weekend.  I can't do it without your help because Janice Joubert put my yearbook in her safe!  I did not know that Kenneth Jacobs died.  He was such a cutie in first grade. Just an extremely pretty little boy.  If he knew I said that it might kill him.  Okay I know! Bad joke.  Let his trumpet sound while the angels sing.

Our classmate, Dianne Mayo lost her mother, Shirley Mae Theresa Rosette Mayo on November 30, 2014.  The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Dianne and the entire family during their time of bereavement.

My prayers  go with Dianne Mayo as she grieves the loss of her mother.  I write this in the wake of James Mayo's passing.  James worked with us on the Mega-reunion committee, we had a blast!  Little did we know that James was kissing us goodby 2 months ago, at the  mega reunion at the Civic Ctr.  Last year,  Mahaley Mouton and Kenneth Manuel (Charlene's lil bro) both passed away a couple of months after  that reunion.

I got the chance to share a moment with each of these people; laughing, talking, laughing til we cried over school days that had become our memories, at the reunions. When I heard that these peoples names were on the roll call, I was grateful for attending the reunion.  This is the reason for reunions
