Anne Goodwin Larden

Anne “Leanna” Goodwin Larden, 50, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006.

She was born June 24, 1956, in Church Point. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Marion High School. She was employed in her earlier years at Martin DePorres Nursing Home, St. Patrick Hospital, Downtowner Motor Inn and Rosewood Nursing Home. She was a homemaker.

She leaves to mourn her daughter, Antoinette Evia Larden; stepson, Mark Washington; five sisters, Sylvia Goodwin, Norma Goodwin, Clara Goodwin, Mildred Goodwin and Mary Goodwin; three brothers, Willis (Mary Catherine) Goodwin Jr., Paul (Agnes) Goodwin and J. Thomas Goodwin Sr.; one godchild, Jason Goodwin; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Clayton Larden; her parents, Willis and Evia Goodwin; brothers, Carlton, Martin and Peter Goodwin; and sister-inlaw, Mary Joyce Citizen Goodwin.

Her funeral was at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Father Tim Goodly officiated. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, under the direction of King’s Funeral Home.
