After graduating from LFHS, Kevin attended Michigan Tech University in Houghton, MI. He obtained both a B.S. and a Master's Degree in geophysics. He spent the majority of his adult life in Houston, TX working in the oil and gas exploration industry and was quite successful. He had several serious relationships, but remained single. He died in Houston of a heart attack in February 2015 at the age of 57. He is survived by his brother Mark, who also attended MTU and still resides in Houghton, MI and by his mother Francis McClannahan, who lives in Rhinelander, WI. (Source: David Lubin, friend)
