Laurie Leiffer Tabor

Graduated from the University of Alabama (ROLL TIDE) in 1992 with a double major in Marine Science & Biology. Worked a couple of places before my science degree landed me a job as a crime scene investigator for Orange County (no, it is NOT like it is on television); then I went sworn and became a deputy. Met my husband Bobby playing co-ed softball in 1994. After 14 years together, Bobby & I became parents to a precious baby girl.

Out of all my memories of high school, my favorite would have to be beating Lake Brantley for the first time in softball our senior year for the district championship. What a rush that was!!! There were five of us who played varsity all four years, and for the first three we were a young team. Our senior year we not only had a blast, but we were finally a strong team and we won districts. What a great time that was...
