Comments:
After leaving LMHS, I went to MIT in Cambridge for my undergrad and then got a Masters at Stanford (I chose it because it was in California!) That should have been the end of the story, but I took a temporary job back in Cambridge and ended up staying there another 10 years. I finally got my chance to escape the clutches of Massachusetts when my then new girlfriend Ayesha got an opportunity to come to Oxford for work and I convinced her to take it, and I came along for the ride. We spent 8 years in the UK (Oxford/London) and then moved back to Cambridge, MA, showing it wasn't so easy to leave MA after all.
