After HS, I went to Clearwater Christian College to get my degree in Elementary Education. After graduating, I taught as a substitute in the Juvenile Detention Center, as an Art & Music teacher at a local private school and planned my wedding. I married my wonderful husband, John, in July of 1993 and settled into the first grade for awile (teaching :), then became a stay-at-home mom in 1996 and again in 1999. We moved to Tennessee in 1999, had our daughter in 2001 and then I decided to go for a Master's Degree in Education in 2004. I graduated from Jones International University in 2006 and became the director of our homeschool association that year. I have been teaching our children at home for eight years now, staying busy with all the activities that come with active children, a life of ministry at our local church, as well as continuing my long distance running "hobby" :).
