When I was in h.s., all I wanted to do was leave Lakeland, but now I can't see myself living anywhere else. I lived in Alaska for a year in 1983, but have been here ever since. My son and I bought a house on the street I grew up on (my mother still lives in my childhood home) so that Brian can experience an idyllic childhood like I had here. Life is great... we have been very blessed.

It is actually quite surreal that we have been out of h.s. for 30 years... I can't be that old!!
