Hello Classmates....I must say that I think the whole field party thing is a great idea! Hope no one minds if I find some MD 20/20 and Boones Farm so we can re-live old times. :-)

I am looking forward to seeing everyone also. It is just a blessing knowing how many of us are still alive since we all know how quickly life can be snuffed out. Come on class of '89 get on here and start posting things. I just watched the results of our presidential election and I am very scared for the future 4 years of our country. Now if that doesn't get some people talking, I don't know what will. I was also so glad to see so many stay-at-home moms from our class. That is one of the most important jobs anyone can ever do. And extra kudos to those of you who are home schooling. The schools are filled with such violence, sex, and disrespect now, that it is really scary. I remember as many of you probably do as well, when we were at Pleasant Run Elementary School and some one was in trouble and going to get licks, that those of us in the 5th grade waited in silence while the student and at least a couple of teachers went to "The Boom Room" to administer the punishment. When those days of "licks" left the school and kids got attitudes things went down hill. Oh for the good ole' days! Boy, we are getting old to say phrases like that. Everyone get in here and post we can't catch up with everyone at our reunion in one weekend. Look forward to seeing everyone log in.

That's funny Eric! You took the thoughts right out of my head! I seriously doubt that Boones Farm is still 3 for $5.00 now-a-days though! LOL!

Eric you did well...I had too many flashbacks today about Boones Farm especially...I instantly got a headache and felt sick like back in the day! Arggghhh! Strawberry Hill was about the best. But that means we had to do like we did then drink it before we arrive....hahaha! Does that mean we get Bahama Punch!

Hugs to all y'all!

We always had 2 coolers, one red and one blue. The blue cooler was for the boys in blue and the red one they stayed out of. But whatever the method, make it ICE COLD!!!!
See you guys at the reunion!!!!

Hey Mitz, if we can't get the Boone's Farm 3/$5.00... I seem to remember the bottles of "Sex on the Beach" being our fallback! As I was telling Julie Needham yesterday, somewhere in my Senior memory book is a picture of all of our "Spring Break Empties" we kept stashing in my closet so my parents wouldn't find them! My closet reeked for a week!

Sure wish I could make it to the reunion, as of right now, it doesn't look like it. If things change, I sure will be there with bells on!

YES Nannette! I still have that photo somewhere! We were SO PROUD! lol I still can't believe we didn't get busted from all the noise of the bottles hitting each other and the giggling we were doing while taking the photo!

OH I just remembered...We got BUSTED going downtown to the West End... me, you and Candice. You were grounded for like 65687689164 days weren't you?

And as far as you making it to the reunion...MAKE THINGS CHANGE!! lol jk...but I really hope it works out!

I agree Misty, Strawberry Hill was better but Coor's Light was best! Michelle i think the field party is a good idea. I hope I make it out with my purse this time before the cops show! Boy was i in trouble. Remember Michael Martinez's field parties? By the way, where are you Kevin Patterson? Can't wait to see you all. Michelle looks like we both need to hook up and ride horses. OMG Elizabeth! You are soo right Coors Light seemed to hit the spot. We would always drain Yvette Freemans dad fridge outside and then blame it on the next door neighbor. I went to one field party in HS and was grounded from them ever since.

I guess I always liked to think only a very few in our class got drunk and had big parties . . . there goes my happy place! Hey, does anyone know how to get in touch with Tangela Burns? I have wondered about her for years! My mom even asked about her the other day.

Hey Angela now you find out the innocent weren't so innocent, right. Some of us were just careful! I'm sure now there are alot stories to be told.

I guess I was naive too, Libby. I always like to think the best of people. I figured since I wasn't drinking and had no interest in it, I thought there were many others the same way. Oh well. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at Michelle's and the rest of the weekend, but I must admit I am already feeling apprehensive about it. I don't drink and being around folks that are drunk makes me uncomfortable. Besides, if everyone is drunk, they are not going to be with it enough to catch up on everyone's lives. Not to mention the drinking and driving thing. I just got an email about drinking and driving and it about made me cry. So many lives lost to such a stupid, selfish act. I hope that won't happen at our reunion. It would be sad to have another tragedy on the 20 year anniversary of losing 4 precious souls. Enough talk from me . . . I am far too long winded. Let's hear from some other folks. Later.

It'll have to be Strawberry Hill for me, too, I guess and I do believe I can still get it at 3 for $5.00! And for sweet Angie Arie--I hate that you feel uncomfortable already! Everyone is really excited to see you! But it will be a celebration and many people choose to celebrate with a few cocktails. Have no fear! I can actually drink and talk at the same time. I think this may be a talent I acquired at LHS along with a few others. Right, people? Seriously, our committee works really hard to plan these parties in an incredibly responsible manner so that every person who comes and plans to drink can do so safely.

Oh Michelle....the responsible one. Is that the disclamer and do we need to sign a waiver when the bar opens? You guys are crazy because it was after LHS and in college where Lone Star was discovered...budget and all. 20yrs...OMG...can't wait!!
