After Graduation, went to Georgetown University. Spent the fall '93 semester as an exchange student in Russia. (Yes, I was there when Civil War broke out in Moscow with a crisis of leadership aimed at Yelstin. My group of Americans had just returned to St. Petersburg from a vacation in Yalta.)
For about the last half of the 90's, I was a professional actor performing in murder mystery dinner theatre, which is where I proposed to my wife. I want to get back into the acting but haven't really been able to since the birth of my children.
My wife's maiden name is Jennifer Mahaney. We thought it would be a nice touch if we took on a completely new name when we got married, and so we chose the name Phynn, which has actually been my pen and stage name since college.
