All three of our children attended DeMotte Christian and Illiana.
Brittany (born 1981) graduated More…from Dordt with a double major in Spanish & Pyschology. In 2004 she married Rick Roeda (originally from Ontario, CA) and moved to San Diego where he was called to be a youth pastor at San Diego Christian Reformed Church. While there, Brittany worked for San Diego State University on a health-related study and she worked for the Veterans Administration (also, on a health-related study). Rick became ordained as a Ministry Associate in 2008. Fall 2008 they accepted a call from Mountainview Christian Reformed Church in Grimsby, Ontario, Canada where Rick is now the youth pastor. December 18, 2008 their daughter Haley Noelle (our first grandchild) was born! (Also, they have a chocolate lab named Indy.) :)
Mallory (born 1985) graduated from Dordt college with a major in Psychology. In 2007 she married her highschool sweetheart, Brian Plowman (who grew up in Highland, but moved to Hudsonville, MI his junior year). They currently live in Grandville, MI. Mallory worked in Accounts Payable for Gordon Food Service until their daughter Mia was born February 4, 2010. Brian works for Padnos Iron & Metal Company. They have a chocolate lab named Bailey.
Bart (born 1987) is currently attending Calvin College, focusing on an Engineering Degree. |
