David Dahlke January '57 Classmate

In response to our postcard invitation to our 65 Years Reunion, we received a letter from Dave Dahlke's wife Wendy that Dave had died January 8, 2021:

Dear Dennis,

I hope this letter finds you in good spirits and health. When I received Dave's invitation to the class reunion this year, it reminded me of our time on Gay Lane. For Dave, it would have rekindled great school memories.

Unfortunately, Dave passed away on January 8, 2021 as a result of complications of a heart attack suffered in late 2020. This was an exceedingly difficult time made worse by the hospital protocols implemented due to the pandemic.

We, his family, and friends in Lansing and here in Virginia, miss him so much and I'm sure some of his classmates will remember him fondly.

I am glad to have this chance to let everyone know about Dave, and I'm sure he (as do I) would say "Hello everyone and have a great reunion".
