Vera Ruth Crothers

Age 64, died December 26, 2003. Born may 15, 1939 in Gladwin, Michigan. Mrs. Crothers enjoyed bowling and was a member of the 39’ers League in Lansing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy M. on January 21, 1985 and father-in-law Bruce L. Crothers in February 2003. Surviving are her daughter, Ruth Ann Crothers of Lansing, son, Richard L. ‘Rick’ (Lynette) Marr of Pewamo; 2 grandsons, Richard Lee Marr II, and Jared Allen Marr; 1 granddaughter, Erin Crothers; mother-in-law, Edna Crothers of Vermontville’ sister-in-law, Joy (Crothers) Angel of Vermontville; 2 brothers, Arnold (Peggy) Reynolds of Lansing and Ronald (Pat) Reynolds of Laignsburg; 2 sisters, Doris (Bob) Hickerson of Hastings and Carol Reynolds of Louisville, Kentucky.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, December29, 10:00 a.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Home Lansing Chapel, 900 East Michigan Ave., Lansing with the Rev. Clint Galloway of Ionia, Michigan officiating. Internment will be in Woodland Cemetery, Woodland, Michigan. The family will receive friends at the Chapel Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
