Edsel Eugene Essary

Edsel Eugene Essary, 81, of Milan, Tennessee, formerly of Greenfield, Tennessee, died Wednesday February 19, 2020 at Vanderbilt Hospital due to complications from surgery.  

Mr. Essary leaves Camille, his wife of 61 years: his grandson, Jeremy David Essary of Greenfield, and brother, Donny (Nancy) of Greenfield, and nieces and nephews.  Mr. Essary was preceded in death by his son, David Eugene Essary, and his parents, W.E. and Ruth Rebecca Essary.

Edsel was a retired long-haul truck driver. He was a member of Greenfield United Methodist Church and attended Milan First United Methodist Church after moving to Milan in 2017. He was a veteran of the Army, a Mason, and was Worshipful Master of Mount Vernon Lodge Number 159 of Sharon, TN. 

Services for Mr. Essary will be held on Saturday, February 22, at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Ryan Boatright at Williams Funeral Home in Greenfield.  Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Saturday, February 22, starting at 11:00 a.m. and going until time of funeral.
