Donna Jo Workman Kanillopoolos
Donna Kanillopoolos passed away on Saturday August 31, after suffering from long-term health problems. Donna was born on May 28, 1939, in Philippi, West Virginia, to Glenn Workman and Ann (Fisher Workman) Dawson. Donna was a very loving wife, mother, and friend who would help anyone in need without hesitation. She was a devoted Jehovah's Witness who enjoyed sharing her love of Jehovah with others. Donna's world revolved around her family. She was a unique woman who shared her large heart with many people who considered her as their own sister or mother. Donna was preceded in death by her parents and brother Jerry Workman. She is survived by her husband John; children: Kevin (Susy), Traci, Todd (Roxanne), Dion (Carrie); sister Sandra Workman; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 6, at 11:00 am at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2330 North East St, Lansing, MI 48906, with Mark Torres officiating. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Purvaj Patel and Theresa Alvarado, RN, who provided Donna with loving care during her illness.
