(June) Dolores D. Dillingham (Knop)

Dolores D. Knop Lansing Age 69, a lifelong resident of the Lansing area, went to meet the Lord on November 18, 2008. She was born in Lansing, to Paul and Dorothy Dillingham on September 20, 1939, and lived most of her life in Dimondale. Dolores, who is described by her family as caring and strong-willed, worked at MSU Housing and Food Services for more than 15 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dimondale. Dolores is survived by: sons, Rick (Tammy) Knop of Holt, Russ (Diane) Knop of Laingsburg, Scott Knop of Okemos; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald Dillingham; along with many others who loved her dearly. The funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 24, 2008, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, with Pastor John A. Toth officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-4 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Dimondale in memory of Dolores Knop. Dolores will be missed, and never forgotten.
