Great Esker story. We removed the hinge pins on one of the doors into the Physics room so it plummeted when opened. My brother, class of 58, was involved in the TAG movement.

Ahh yes, 80. Made it myself last October. Way to go mate. Now on to 90.
Sounds like you have had a great life Donna. Also sounds like you and I have had reasonable parallel careers, as I have been in Advertising as a writer, creative director, agency owner and college professor over the course of 60 years. My wife is English and we are approaching 50 years together. You are certainly more worldly than me, as my reach goes only to a few years in Chicago, motorcycle touring of America and a few trips to the mother country with my wife. I did race cars for a while (C-Sedan Austin Cooper S) but that's all the excitement I have been able to endure beyond the usual fly fishing, ballroom dancing (my wife is REALLY good) golf, tennis and other mundane, standard issue American pastimes.
I don't like writing in one endless paragraph, so I started a new on, although the subject and narrative won't change enough to really warrant it. So I ended up about 5 miles from LEHS after 7 years in Chicago and and about 40 in Grand Rapids.
Another paragraph so this doesn't look too overpowering to read. I'm fiercely loyal Spartan, having earned my undergraduate degree (in Advertising) there in 1966. I suppose you and I are on opposite sides of the table each fall when we play the country's second Land Grant college, but so be it (I only recognize the intensity of the rivalry in football). So bi it. I wish you well, Donna, and I hope you and your husband outlive your incredible mothers. I'll attach a pic if I can figure out how. I'll be the white-haired guy.
I didn't really know Walt, but it appears that he led a fulfilling, memorable and caring life. RIP Walter, you have done the class of LEHS 1960 proud.
Sorry to hear this. We were teammates and friends. There was always something ' stable' about Larry and I liked him a lot. I know his family is missing such a strong member, and I pass my condolences to them. Larry is a great loss to all who remember his from LEHS 1960.

Cal: Wish I knew your secret of constantly looking 20 younger than me. Great shots of your family.
