Mr. Timothy Gerald McDonald, age 60, of Forks Township, Sullivan Co., PA, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday evening, March 26, 2026, at his home while out taking care of his property.
Tim was born on March 9, 1966, in Towanda, PA, a son of Jane Fetherbay McDonald and the late Gerald Peter McDonald. He graduated from Sullivan County High School, a member of the Class of 1984. He furthered his education at Pennsylvania College of Technology graduating with an Associates Degree in Agriculture.
In 1996, Tim met Amy Bisher of East Bangor, PA. They were later married on October 27, 2007, in Stroudsburg, PA.
Tim started working at Agway after High School, followed by employment with Taylor Packing and SCI Muncy. He later worked for Procter & Gamble and retired from there in 2023, after over 20 years of service. Tim was currently serving as a Forks Township Supervisor a role that he greatly enjoyed.
He loved working outdoors in his garden and maintaining the farm – especially the flowerbeds; celebrations and get-togethers with family; hunting with his good friends; caring for his dogs, cats, and chickens – a real Dr Doolittle; and his many and varied trips with Amy.

He was predeceased by his father Gerald McDonald on March 18, 2022, and his maternal grandparents Leon and Frances Hottenstein Fetherbay and his paternal grandparents Arthur and Veronica North McDonald.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 12:00 PM in the Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA, with Rev. Betsy Sentigar, presiding. Interment will follow in the Warburton Hill Cemetery, Forks Township, PA.
Friends and family may call on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in the Homer Funeral Home, Dushore, PA, from 11:00 AM until the start of the service at noon.
