I have a girl, Reece Caroline Richardson born June 11th, 2007. She's fantastic!... Yeah, I know.... More…All parents say that.... but in this case she really IS the most beautiful, brilliant 15 month old on the planet. Fuzzy things are really popular around the Richardson household and her favorite color is sparkle.
After we graduated I spent my time going to school at NMSU, working at Mesilla Valley Hospital and the psych hospital in Santa Teresa until 93 when I moved to Hawaii. I've been here ever since. I worked in children's mental health until 2001. Now I'm an electrical contractor.
On the non work/school side of things, I've been skydiving since a couple of years after high school. I'm also a paraglider pilot and have spent most of my adult life engaged in one or both of these sports. Having Reece has changed my priorities a bit but I still manage to get out once in a while. I sometimes help with electronic music festivals and I'm a classical music junkie.
School Story:
The thing that I remember most vividly right now about high school were the all day chorus rehearsals for Modernaires. We worked SO hard for so many hours straight. It was sort of the musical version of the Bataan Death March. We got a lot accomplished over the course of a weekend and it was always a really talented bunch. My musical gift to the group was that I did NOT sing. I was the bass player and the band would chain smoke, drink "New Coke" and work the music all day.
This was about a year ago. I came back to Las Cruces to officiate the wedding of some friends. Reece (my daughter) was about 4 months old.

I just took this from a camera on my helmet in late August. This is an arial photo of Burning Man. It's almost 50,000 people coming together for a huge arts/music festival in the desert. I got to skydive in!
