I lived in New York for a few years. My family actually moved away before I could graduate so I had to finish high school there. It was tough leaving you guys and all the friends I'd made in 17 years in Cruces. The Long Island beaches were great and driving in snow is an adventure but I missed the Southwest. I transferred schools as an undergraduate to Arizona, finished grad school and settled in the Phoenix area which I love. I can play tennis year round and it's a short trip to beaches or mountains. If we just had decent green enchiladas and the Organ mountain views...
