After High School I went to Spain for a year as an exchange student. When I came back I went to NMSU and received a BBA, business and BA, Spanish. Worked in El Paso for a year selling industrial pumps and decided I hated it. Came back to Cruces and did odd jobs, which wasn't putting my degree to good use. Moved to Austin, TX for job and that's where I met my wife; Jill, on a blind date. She is from Iowa so we moved up here. Got a good job with a company called Pearson working with State Student Assessments. We score the student's state tests. We live out in the country outside of Iowa City near her parents farm. We have 2 wonderful little girls; Avery and Zoe.
