05/26/08 12:38 AM #3     Elizabeth Van Dyke (Mortensen) Just so everyone knows, our reunion has been in the works for several months. However, somethings changed at the last moment that no one on the planning end had any control over. Brian Lanier and Terrence Lewis had been working on the reunion. When everything fell through I (Liz Van Dyke Mortensen)offerend to come in and help. I am a Wedding and Event coordinator. So this is what I do, so it is a lot esier for me. Poor Brian is so busy with work that he was going crazy. We are very sorry there was nothing sooner. We are however looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible to make this an amazing 10 year reunion. Also Class of 97 only had about 45 people at there reunion. Lets show them how a 10 year reunion is done. Thanks Class of '98!

Glad you're helping out...I just went through all the names and there are maybe 30 of us at best that know about this website (and of that number, not everyone is attending the reunion). Also, there aren't very many of us on the class myspace thing. How else can we go about finding our classmates? Does Cheyenne or CCSD keep any records? And has anyone called Cheyenne yet to give them this website info, just in case class members call the school to try and find out information?? In order for this to be a success, we need to get the word out there, and it isn't spreading fast enough. It's not that you guys haven't tried- I just wanted to offer up a few more suggestions of trying to locate classmates. Let me know what I can help w/. <3 Amber Robinson

05/30/08 05:32 AM #5     Jacob Tillack Hey all congrats on taking on this responsibility and I hope we have one heck of a good reunion. I will help out in any way I can in providing any contact information. I just submitted an announcement concerning the whereabouts of Joel Macrae. I have confirmed with an old friend that he died in a car accident about 6 years ago. This is just a quick insight on how our lives can be gone in an instant. I can't wait to see everyone again and stir up old memories and create new ones.

I like this site and it is cool to see what everyone is up to and a good way to get in contact with people. Thanks for setting this up for all of us!

06/05/08 08:43 AM #7     Elizabeth Van Dyke (Mortensen) This website is up for good. That way we can always keep up with everyone. And the unlike other class websites this one is free. I like that because there is no reason why everyone can't sign up. I wish I would have know about it sooner. Well keep telling our classmates about it, soon hopefully we will have everyone logging in.

Not sure how many people that would attract, but I hope that a lot of people end up coming.. Ive told everyone that I still keep in contact with about it... Thanks for doing all of this Elizabeth...

06/14/08 07:48 PM #11     Rhianna Ogden (Johnson) Honestly, I wish I still worked for the Review Journal, I probably wouldn't have been able to run an ad for free, but I could have definitely gotten something at a discount. Let me see if there is still anyone there that may be able to pull some strings for me, and I'll keep you all posted if I can get something, and when it would be.

06/23/08 07:55 PM #13     Jacob Tillack Hello Everyone, those of us who still reside in Las Vegas, I hope you are surviving our usual summer heat. Hopefully, everyone knows by now that Liz Mortensen has stepped up and is really putting alot of effort into making our 10 year reunion successful and enjoyable for everyone. I am doing my part and helping Liz out in any way, however, the dilemna we have right now is, if you are planning on attending the reunion, please pay as soon as possible. I know right now that everyone is feeling the economic stress from the housing market and it doesn't help that the price of gas is getting so high we will all have to apply for loans soon, just to fill up our tanks. Please, help us out if you can and pay for "your 10 year reunion experience." Liz doesn't want to alienate anyone in anyway, she appreciates any suggestions or ideas. Please, get a hold of anyone that you still have contact information for and let them know about the reunion. I hope to see all of you there. Thanks, Jacob
