I am going to be a grandma for the first time in March.  I was honored to see the first sonogram and watch that tiny speck on the screen beat knowing that was the sign that MY grandbaby was real and alive.  I stood in amazement!

Then my son and his wife 'eloped' to the next sonogram which I call the "illegitimate" one since no grandma's were there to witness it with our own eyes.  They came home with photos of a "new person".  This one was no longer a peanut or alien, but really looked like a tiny baby and they "SAID" that those three dots mean that it is a boy...

Tomorrow, we get to go back for another look.  I am certain that they will be right, but I have one more chance to give them a hard time about my 'grand-daughter'.  But I am so eager as I realize that I will get to meet David Michael Tankersley who will look as cute as his daddy and be as sweet as his mommy...and will have all of the love of his grandma.
