Kevin Michael Carlson, 50, of Las Vegas, passed away May 25, 2007. He was born Dec. 4, 1956, in Ellensburg, Wash., and resided in Nevada for 44 years.
Kevin was a motor grader operator with American Asphalt. His lifelong career was 'playing in the sandbox'. He was a graduate of Eldorado High School, Class of 1975. Kevin's hobbies included riding the highways on his Harley. He was a lover of nature, particularly desert tortoises, and patriotic through and through.
This tender-hearted "gentle giant" was a beloved son, brother, uncle, friend and buddy. He is survived by his loving family: parents, Richard and Ardette Carlson; brother, Brett Carlson; sister, Britta Carlson; niece, Gabriella Dimotsantos; grandmother, Alveretta Face; fiancee, Laura Duell; and Beau Jaramillo and Sequoiah Dobbs, all of Las Vegas.
Memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 31, at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
