Dear NJROTC Alumni;
 
Sure, we have all heard of reunions, but we never really thought it would happen to OUR group. Well, here it comes! A small group of slightly twisted people have gotten together, called ourselves the Reunion Committee and, over several ‘decaf-double-tall-non-fat-no-foam lattes’ at Starbucks, have endeavored to make it a reality. Over all, things have fallen into place in a surprisingly organized fashion.
 
This reunion could be the best yet! We (the committee) have chosen a spectacular venue along with a schedule of events that will allow for much talk, special memories and lots of pictures.

Reunion Reservation Deadline: The deadline for registering for our reunion is October 1, 2010.
In order to insure sufficient facility space and food quantities you MUST pre-register for the reunion. Admittance to the reunion cannot be guaranteed without pre-registering. You are NOT considered registered for the reunion if you respond through www.facebook.com or other similar sites. Please note: only a limited number of dinner registrations will be accepted at the door. Walk-ins are subject to an additional charge.
You may register online for the reunion at www.eldorado-njrotc.com. (Please note all credit card payments run through PayPal and will incur a 4% credit card processing fee). If you would like to pay via check or money order please mail the attached order form and payment to Sherri Lokken, PO Box 335428, North Las Vegas, NV 89033-5428.
 
Your Ticket Price Includes: Dinner with cash bar for Saturday Reunion Celebration, food for Sunday Family Picnic, entertainment, photographer, Alumni Memory Book (alumni only), decor, personalized nametags, facility expenses, alumni research/search, database management, website management, promotional materials, printing and postage.
 
Confirmation: A confirmation notice will be emailed to all pre-registrants or sent via US mail, two weeks prior to the reunion, if no email address is provided. Please note: TICKETS ARE NOT MAILED. Check in at the registration table the night of the reunion is required to receive your reunion book and name badge.
  
Reunion Questionnaire: Please complete and return the ‘What Have You Been Up To’ questionnaire sheet included in this packet. The information provided on the questionnaire will be reproduced to create a Reunion Memory Book to be handed out the night of the reunion. All questionnaires received by the deadline date WILL be included in the Reunion Memory Book for free, even if you are unable to attend the reunion. Be formal or humorous - it is up to you. The committee reserves the right to omit offensive material from the Reunion Memory Book. If you are unable to attend the reunion you may purchase your copy of the Reunion Memory Book, see enclosed form.
 
Photography: A photographer will be at the reunion celebration Saturday night to take candid photos, a group photo and couple portraits. Group photos will be available for purchase after the reunion at the price of $15.00 for a 8x10.
 
Photo CD: A CD containing all of the candid photos taken at the reunion by our photographer will be available for purchase. This CD does NOT include a group photo. Order your CD for only $20.00 per CD and make your own prints or just view them on your computer. The CD will be mailed to you 4-6 weeks after the reunion.
 
Photo collage/Slide Show: We are asking each alumnus to help make this reunion special. So dust off those old boxes of high school memorabilia. Dig out those long forgotten pictures and send them in for a great display. We’re looking for photos from our last reunion, but we also want those snapshots of you and your friends from high school, too! So think outside the box and send whatever you have! Let’s bring back the memories… It would be really great if you could scan them and send them to us digitally. If you can, please email them to Christine “Red” (Brown) Blei, Class of ’92 at hughsfan30@cox.net. Please send your photos by 9/10/10.
 
Refund: Requests for refunds will be provided upon written notification. Refund requests must be received no later than October 1, 2010. After that date registrations are non-refundable.
 
As the planning committee for the 10.10.10 NJROTC Reunion Weekend, we would like to invite you all to a celebration of our time at Eldorado High School! We hope, with this advance notice, you’re able to make plans to attend a weekend’s worth of activities.
 
So come as you are, not as you were, and join with us in celebration of the friendships that have shaped us and the memories that remain. You’ll be missed if you don’t show, so come and help make this a reunion to remember.
