Peter Burnson

Peter L. Burnson died in Las Vegas on October 8, 1992 at the age of 55. He was active in scouting for more than 31 years and served as cubmaster and scoutmaster, attended Wood Badge scout leadership training for adults.  He was honored by the Boulder Dam Area Council in 1983 with the Silver Beaver Award, scouting's highest honor for its volunteer leaders.  In 1983, he served as assistant scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts World Jamboree in Calgary, Alberta.  Pete was born in Hollywood CA and moved to Las Vegas with his family in 1941.  He earned a bachelor's degree from BYU in 1961. He was an electrical contractor and an active member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 357.  He had two daughters and one son.

Keith Stirling

Pete is a great friend.  He and his wife to be, Joann,  journeyed to Twin Falls, ID in 1960 to be my best man.  I don't believe there was any problem he could not sove/resolve.
