Arkie died 09/23/10 in Parowan, UT after a long battle with Alzheimers.  He originally moved to Las Vegas in 1951.  He was a police officer in Las Vegas and retired after 31 years of service.  He married Mary Reese in 1956.  They had two daughters and one grandson, Zamir, who was the greatest joy of his life.
