Died 09/28/12.  Dewey was born in Kingman, AZ and moved to Las Vegas in 1940.  He joined the Navy in his Senior year at LVHS and later served in the Naval Reserves.  He was a licensed residential designer and general contractor and had his own business, Jones-Greenwold Architecture, LLS.  The majority of his career was spent designing and building residential and commercial projects throughout the state of Nevada.  His proudest career achievement was his contributions to the creation and approval of the legislation enacting the Nevada Residential Designer’s License and serving on the Nevada State Board of Architecture.  Dewey was married to Irma for 42 years and had two children and three grandchildren.
