David Powell:  David died in Las Vegas on September 16, 2007.  He lived in Las Vegas since 1942 and was a semi-retired Real Estate Broker.  He was married to Karen Weller (LVHS Class of 1960) for 44 years and had two daughters, a granddaughter and a grandson.  David loved tennis and played at least twice a week.  He was a member of the National Tennis Association.  He had been a member of the State Board of Equalization and the Small Business Association.
