Wow 2007… seems like a lifetime ago.
I guess since then I’ve traveled a bit, partied a bit, studied a bit, did a little of this and a little of that, lost too many people, lost myself for a bit, found myself again, but most of all… had a lot of adventures!
Now I’m more “settled down,” if you will, living in Florida with my husband, our 3 dogs, 2 cats, a yellow slider (aquatic turtle), ball python, and a bunch of fish (including Alfie and Princess Sofia Banana Hammock - the only 2 fancy goldfish in our pond…so far), and a LOT of plants… I like to garden, who knew?! No kids, yet. We love the outdoors and the water, there’s so many things to do out here it’s never a dull moment and we’re right by the Caribbean, my favorite place to go! We live on the chain of lakes in Winter Haven, but you’ll find us on one of the coasts quite often. Feel free to ask for recommendations if you ever visit Florida, which I think everyone should at least once in their life. Just not Miami, I don’t go there so I have no recommendations. 😂 If we’re not out exploring (or fishing - my husband) then we’re working on the house. We just did the pond and are still adding to it, but we have a large backyard that seems like it will take forever to finish… but I love it, that was one thing that was so hard to find in Vegas, plus everything grows like crazy out here, even my orchids!!! And no rock landscaping ughhh the worst.

I still visit Vegas, including some friends from high school. Steph, Ryan, Cinnamin, and Anthony are still my ride or die, even though we’re all over the place and have our own lives, we still make time for each other when we can and I’ll love them forever and a day.
I do miss the hiking in Vegas though, but we plan to make it up to Georgia and the Carolinas for some mountains soon.

Eventually we might end up in another state for my husbands work but for now we’re loving it here and I have my parents close by and my husbands mom, grandpa, cousins, and aunt live just a couple hours away, along with my grandma in St. Augustine… beautiful place to visit if you ever get the chance, definitely go to the historic district, it’s the oldest town in America and they have some really awesome things to see and do, get a trolley pass for the day and you can learn as you go and hop on and off when you see something you want to check out.
Yes, Florida has some crazy people but they’re mostly harmless and it’s a great place to people watch.

I guess that’s pretty much it for now, just always trying to live our best lives, and I hope you all are as well! Love to everyone ♥️


P.S. This essay came about because I got an email notification and totally forgot about this site, but then I went on and started telling my husband all these stories that kept popping up about random people I saw on here (or the not on here) list and made me think about a lot of you and hope you are doing good. High school was a lot of good times and even some not so good times, but I met a lot of really cool people that will randomly pop into my head and I’ll remember what a good heart they had, or how goofy we’d be, or the time we had that one class (senior year I think) and the teacher randomly left at the beginning of the year and we had a substitute for the whole year who didn’t teach us anything and pretty much let us do whatever we wanted during that period… and I would put on Run DMC and dance around the class while everyone laughed, or hide in the corner and take a nap. I don’t even remember what that class was supposed to be, I think it was world history or something. Anyway, I thought maybe someone else might think of others sometimes too and we could all just let each other know we’re okay, or maybe we’re not okay and reach out for help, which I’m always open for anyone that needs to talk as well, so there’s that too. So basically yes, I still talk too much, but hey… some things just never change. 🤷🏻‍♀️
