Thank you Lorrie and Joan for organizing this website and the proposed reunion weekend (July 2010). I am grateful for the organizers of the world - they bring us together to share memories. What could be better!

Though I seldom get back to Le Mars now that my in-laws and my parents are gone, I still consider Le Mars to be home. I have a Norma Rockwell-esque feeling about the wonderful Memorial Day activities and the homecoming parades, the Plymouth County Fair and other community events.

I look forward to hearing what my classmates have been up to over the years. Who knew life would be so delightful! Drop me an e-mail if you have a chance!

Hi to all my fellow classmates. When I brought up my email and notice another class reunion, I was thrilled. The last one I missed. Yes, I'll probably be there. It gives me a chance to visit with my Mom again. If anyone wants to email me you have my address now. Can't wait to hear from some of you.

This is terrific! Another place to chat, but with those who share memories...good/bad indifferent, whatever.
I left LeMars Aug.1971 for Colorado Springs.
The rest is a very long story, with a mixture of good and bad. My life could be "Sleepless in Seattle Meets Sleeping with the Enemy"...It's all good, now.
Enjoy the summer!

What ever happened to Martha Woodke? We were best friends in grade school, drifted apart in Junior High and High School. I wonder what she is up to?

Anyone remember Crystal Collins? She moved away in Junior High ... wonder what became of her.

Ignacio Ortega - Class of 70, exchange student from Sain...I would love to hear from him now. Anyone in touch with him?

There are many other classmates that I think of from time to time...I look forward to attending the 2010 calss reunion and catching up on what you all are doing and dreaming and schemeing fo rthe future. Life has been pretty amazing and it will be such fun to share! See y'all in July!

I was so excited to know that there was to be a reunion this year; had been granted vacation days.  However, LIFE happens.

May 26th: Thyroidectomy due to lymphoma. Family and friends have been caring and compassionate.

Am recovering; endurance level is improving.  Labs and PET are this morning.  Am I anxious?  You bet I am!  Hoping for the best case scenerio.  I will post updates on Face Book.                                   Celebrating LIFE!   Love,Deborah Freeburg, Jennings

Hello Class of '71!

The reunion was such fun.  I am sorry so few of you all showed up! The dance was fun, but I wish there had been a sit-down kind of social event where we had a chance to introduce ourseves and hear about who haa died and news of those who could not attend.  Everyone at the event this year seemed happy, healthy and engaged in full, rich lives.

Thank you to all who attended and a BIG, HUUUUUGE thanks to those who organized it all.  Life is just tooooo short...those of you who did not go -> you were missed.  We all share a delightful common heritage - I am  grateful to have you all in my lives (even though it is all in my past.)  You all give me confidence and grace as I move forward in a big world where many people seem rootless and disengaged, angry and bitter...I have the gift of roots back in my hometown.

I hope those who attended and managed to take some photos will post them here.  Later, I will upload the few photos I took.

Life is good...but just far to short for all the joys and adventures out there.
