Mary Huisman Kuester passed away Saturday, Oct. 12, 2002 at a Sioux City Hospital. Her obituary may be found at http://iagenweb.org/boards/sioux/obituaries/index.cgi?read=266226.
Mary: I am so sorry for the way I treated you, especially in Jr. High. As an adult I often thought about you and "regretted going along with the crowd" in calling you names and being mean to you...it must have made you so sad to be treated so badly. The old axiom "children can be so cruel" was epitomized in the way you were treated. Please forgive me.

I feel bad too for the way we treated you. I have often thought about it and wish I hadn't been such a jerk!
