What have I been doing?? Well.... where to begin! :) I attended Iowa State and graduated in 2004. That summer I did a mission trip to Slovenia for 8 weeks. Its right by Italy! We taught English there and did some great things. Then, I randomly got a teaching job at a high school in the Washington DC metro where I taught English related subjects for 3 years. In March of 2007, I left early to help take care of my Dad who had become very ill with cancer. He passed away April 28, 2007. I remained in LeMars for the summer before moving to Omaha to start my new job!! I have been living in Omaha for almost a year and have loved it! North is a very diverse, innercity school and its fantastic.... I guess I'm still trying to get adjusted to living back here and starting over again!! :) New beginnings bring new adventures! :)
