School Story
A year after graduating from KU, I married Dave and we moved to his first Army assignment in Virginia. We moved 16 times in his 25 years of service, including enjoying several years in Leavenworth, during which I worked at IMAC and Hannah attended LHS for 9th grade. Our last Army assignment was at West Point and when Dave retired, we moved to Philadelphia while Dave worked at Penn. We then moved to Georgia and now enjoy suburban life in the countryside between Atlanta and Athens. Our daughter also married a soldier and after several overseas deployments, now lives with her husband and their two sons in Washington, DC. Our greatest joy are our annual summer road trips, when Dave and I take the grand kids on wild adventures that their parents need not know about!
