Ronald Odell Ashley, 67, passed away on May 26, 2017 after a short illness. Ron was born March 9, 1950 in Orlando, Florida. He is predeceased by his parents, Odell A. & Jeannette; and brothers, J. Donald and Thomas. He leaves behind his loving family; wife, Jacqueline; Children, Jacqueline Holt (Bryan) Summers; Ronald Odell, II; James Fowler; Valerie Lynn; and Kimberly Ann (Drew) Kunberger; Thirteen grandchildren; and brother John (Jerri). Ron was an avid outdoorsman who pursued those passions throughout his life. He was the first licensed private wetlands trapper in the state of Florida and was an active participant in many facets of the alligator industry. He was happiest spending time with family and friends, throwing a rod, shooting a target, and grilling his exceptional chicken wings.
