I'm still here, facebook too, but I honestly liked this site better. But it doesn't look like it's gonna last much longer.

Becky Furr (Baker)

Amy, do you ever run into Roy Trammell at the garage when taking your cruiser in for service?

12/22/08 04:08 PM #1212

Kurt Seekford

Facebook is lame.

12/23/08 03:33 PM #1213

Lee Presgrave

You're just saying that because you have chicks after you over there.

Amy Harper

Hi Becky, hadn't checked this for awhile. I do run into Roy every now and then. He never changes!

Did everyone (anyone) have a nice Christmas?

12/29/08 04:01 PM #1215

Brian Cross

Pretty good Christmas at our house this year, aside from the bronchitis and coughing that it seems everyone else also has. My 3-year old girl got the "pee-peeing doll" she wanted, so life can't get any better than that. For the 15th straight year, my present was progressive hair loss, the gift that keeps on giving.

Brian, your a stitch!
Do you prefer the progressive hair loss or the "jelly of the month club"?!?!
Our Christmas was rock solid. Tried to catch Santa on the camcorder but the dang camera moved just prior to his arrival! You can hear jingle bells, Ho Ho Hos and him chowing cookies and milk but can't see him.
Maybe next year....

Anybody still here? Remember - they set this site for five years. It would be a shame if no one uses it. Hope everyone is doing well.

03/14/09 05:17 PM #1221

Hello Chris.

"Is anybody out there, anybody there
Does anybody wonder, anybody care"

Well? Whoever names that song wins a prize...and NO googling! :-)

Brian Cross

I thought I knew the answer but I was wrong. I resorted to using the Google machine to find out that it was a song and an album that I listened to thousands of times in the mid-80's. My mind isn't as sharp as it used to be.

Since not that many people seem to be checking out this message board any more, maybe we could start using the "LCHS Class of 88" group on Facebook more often. It hasn't had a new message since November but at least there are plenty of classmates that have gotten used to using Facebook.

I got nuthin. You stumped me Brendhan. Glad to see some activity on here again.

I know it is a pink floyd song just don't remember the name.

04/13/09 05:44 PM #1227

Brian Cross

Millard, there is a Pink Floyd song called "Is there anybody out there?" on side 2 of The Wall (a great album but really depressing movie), but Brendhan's lyrics are from a different song by a different but very well-known band.

Brendhan Pelot (Pelot)

Ok,....it's Def Leopard "Foolin" all you children of the 80's should be ashamed! :-)

I vow to check beck here every day (ok, at least every other day, except on weekends) to keep some activity going.

Somebody else turn to come up with an 80's trivia question.... :-)

Brendhan Pelot (Pelot)

Two days in a row I'm checking in....I will NOT let this board die! :-)

More 80s trivia for you Brendy....who opened for Ozzy in '85?

04/22/09 10:01 AM #1231

Brendhan Pelot (Pelot)

In '85? Hmmm, that is a tough one. In '88 when you and I (and a bunch of others) saw Ozzy it was Anthrax that opened for him....but in '85, I don't know, but I'll throw a guess out there.

W.A.S.P?

04/22/09 02:33 PM #1232

Brendhan Pelot (Pelot)

OOOO OOO I remember now! It was Metallica....and I swear I did NOT look this up (so I'm not 100% sure it's right). Am I right?
