Yes, I remember the "boxing match" between Seek and Lee on Bruce's back deck the night of Monroe's bachelor party a few years after that. The rage in Lee's eyes told me he was thinking about a cold day on top of Foxfield drive a few years before...ah, the great memories are endless.
Don't feel bad, one night @ J-Romey's during summer break from college, the "Slickster" poked me with a hot hamburger spatula...he wouldn't let anyone else near the grill and I was hungry damnit!
I had almost forgotten the Foxfield snowboarding days! I am still trying to figure out what anyone would be doing in the way of a guy backing up a truck in the snow... and that guy is a fireman now?!?! EEGADS! I am a knucklehead, no doubt, but my MVR speaks for it self. Clean! (That may have something to do with my commute distance and the fact I try not to leave Leesburg) As I recall Robbie was the one who wanted to go full-speed sparring that night, not me. WHo in their right mind wants to spar a guy nicknmaed pyscho?!?! I don't recall the grill incident but I dont doubt it, I command the grill to this day! Brendy do you remember in college driving around over Christms break looking for snowboarding spots. We stopped at Clakes gap at Route-7 and 9 interchange and tried the steep hills from the exits. Its full of trees now. My kids use the Burton Backhill now. I got that thing in 1982. The 'Flying Tomato' aint got squat on us! I know there are LCHS folks out there reading all of these and not responding, come on '88 chime in.
Who wants to spar with a guy named Psycho? Apparently you did. Oh, I really can't blame you given my "state" that night. I'm glad you got the chance to beat the shit out of me. Very few did. By the way, I distinctly remember my teeth not lining back up for 3 weeks after that punch. Good times...
Oh and I do commend you on the clean MVR. Simply amazing for a guy who weaves like a drunk man.
yea, I remember driving all over looking for places to use our Burtons. I can't believe you still have yours. Yours was the original if I remember correctly, with the rubber straps and all. I can't believe your kids use it...that's awesome. I had the 2nd generation one with the 1/2 plastic boots attached to it that you strapped into. I had my Burton until I moved to GA....I figured I wouldn't need it again...guess I was wrong if I ever get moved back up there. :)
Good to hear from you Mark! Do you remember the time that You, Jeff Finn and I took 3 of your 3-wheelers and went all over the back roads and farms out by your house after a big snow? I certainly remember hitting a big ass oak tree on it and being thrown into the middle of the road....ah more good times. :)
BrendY, DON'T FEEL BAD, i hit one of those steel things too, summer of 86. YOUCH!! my dumb ass was watchin a sheep out by Ashburn store. to say the least, i had to walk the bike al the way home
I am in central virginia for a few minutes enroute to Saudi Arabia as soon as the visa gets processed. Waiting for my cottage to be completed in Hawaii.
