Shannon Hoffman

Hi everyone! Here's my story for the past 30 years. I was married young and divorced young. I have been single and happy ever since. I have a house in the mountains in Bluemont. It's beautiful out there, though the 100 miles roundtrip a day commute can be tiresome. I currently work as a bookkeeper for a CPA in McLean VA. Pretty much all of my jobs since highschool have been in the Accounting field. I know it's not exciting, but it pays the bills and I really enjoy my current job. I have no children and never have had that " I have to have a baby feeling". I have 6 nieces and nephews that I absolutely adore. I get to enjoy all the wonderful things about kids without all of the hassle. I spoil them rotten. I LOVE NFL football. I am a huge Redskins fan even though they are sucking the life out of me. The Dan Snyder owned era has really ruined this once respected team.! My entire fall and winter schedule revolves around the Redskins games. I also LOVE country music, but I love my fur babies the most. Right now I have one dog and 2 cats, though I am taking care of nephew's 2 cats while he is in Japan teaching English. My Pitbull/Coonhound mix, Geno is the absolute love of my life. I didn't know it was possible to love a dog so much! This is coming from a cat lady.

I can't really recall any particular stories, but I'm proud to say that a few of my good friends from school are still my good friends. Jan Mercker (Schroeder), Mitzi Thompson (DeHart) and Chris Smith (Boyer) are the LCHS alumni I still see and keep in touch with.
