How many of us was hit by any object in Mr. Kennemer's class? WHO BOUGHT ANOTHER ONE or picked up rocks?
Didn't learn a lot about biology but a whole lot about life in that class. Great teacher. too bad we can't have teachers like him these days.Any body remember Hatfield, Todd's Bottoms, Fish Hatchery,Skating Rinks any of the three Salem, Athens, or Hatfield, hanging out at Cook's store in the Morning or late at night.I'm sure we all remember a few good school fights or too. Except me I don't remember ever being in any fights since I was such a good school boy.I don't think anybody ever skipped class, nor do I remember any one ever being tardy for class.The girls never wore tight jeans and the guys never wore hair spry either.Oh yea! and no one, I mean no one EVER got above the speed limit on the way home from school, especially on HWY99 or was that road called the WestOwens Speedway where the West Limestone 125 was held ever single day of the school year (twice a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon). I'm in PA and I guess I have babbled enough, I did'nt forget anything so I'll add to our class saga later!!!So sit back, Get ready and be prepared!!!!

Traci Elmore (Dubon) David, glad you mentioned Freedom Jam. I thought I was really doing something BIG when I went to see them. I remember them driving something like a bread truck??? Everybody was following them out of the Owens parking lot.

Since Brad and Troy had MATCHING Scirrocos,I cant remember whose was red and whose was blue! I do remember when my mother found the dress (or piece of a dress) that I wore to our graduation party! She threw it out the window on Highway 72!

Wow, this board is bringing back so many memories. Owens first grade. Ms. South. We were on a bus going somewhere on a field trip and I kept sneaking peaks at John South (before he went to Athens). Yes, I realize I was 5 years old, but I liked his curls. I probably thought his hair was a toy, it was so cute lol.

Is my memory screwed up or did we actually take field trips to Cook's Pest Control and the Sewage Treatment Plant? It's so clear in my mind but maybe I dreamed it =).

Great Party Michael when's the next one? Oh I remember the next party was at our Ten Year reunion it started on the balcony and partially ended in the pool at Joe Wheeeler. Who was skinny dipping?I cant't type very fast so I will quit for awhile plus I'm hungary and the Hotel is serving so I need to get my grub on.

I didn't skinny dip at the 10-year (at least I don't think I did)! For ONCE I wasn't the WILD one! Ha ha. And WL cheerleaders... Do yall remember rolling my yard, my room, and my DOG?? Or maybe that was Brad P, Alan S, James H, and Troy H the night they snuck over to my house in the middle of the night and beat on my bedroom window! I got SO grounded for that!!!

U guys mentioned fights earlier in this crazy forum... Closest I ever came to a fight was at Dimple Barlow's beauty shop! But I couldn't fight right then! Had to get a perm first...ran in and called my daddy crying. I was a wimp and wouldve gotten my butt kicked!
And Traci...I'm leaving for Atlanta tomorrow with robotics team. Maybe we can hook up and discuss Dragon Toe from PCB!! Ha ha

Guys from Owens ........yall remember the 55gallon barrell and the tractor tire we use to get in and roll down the hill? Dude, I remember me and Travis could get in the barrell at one time.....I wonder if would could fit now?
What about Coach Seibert at the haunted house and dead coons skins .....man did they stink.
Lets not forget the little rectangle pizzas at lunch
And I think I use to drink 5 boxes of milk for lunch Monica's, Dana's, Traci's,Lisa's Jessica's,and mine ohh thats 6 cant count must of went to West Limestone!

His NAME, the big red dog... WHAT WAS HIS NAME.. It's driving me crazy, because I can't remember it...!!! I wasn't scared of him like I was COCO (the DEVIL dog!!!))) How many times did we ride bikes past Jessica's house and EVERYTIME, he would try to eat us up... Chris Barlow, Debbie (my sister) was talking about us riding (or walking to your house) past those mean dogs... They SCARED ME SO BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She said one time we were coming and she ran off and left me and I wrecked my bike (of course I don't remember this) although she had me crying we were laughing so hard... I do remember all of us getting together in the snow, and wrecking your new 4-wheeler down at Jason Patterson's house... We were so scared Dimple & Gerald would find out... Oh yeah, Brad & Jessica what about that path at the end of my road, in the pine trees... That was a good hiding place. Traci, didn't your dad bring you to my house onetime after it had snowed ,on the 4 wheeler..????

Leave my poor sweet dog Cocoa alone...God rest his soul. Ya'll were always mean to him. Lisa, I remember the 4 wheeler wreck...Jason ran into us and flipped us...it was me on bottom, you and the 4 wheeler on top. Brad & Chris pulled that thing off of us because they thought we were crying but we were laughing so hard we couldn't get up! We bend the handlebars of Chris' NEW 4 wheeler and I don't think we stuck around to see what Dimple & Gerald had to say. I remember the little path in the woods....many a kiss in there!!!lol
Lisa, Do you remember the all day horror marathons we would have then have to walk home....you would walk me to the end of your road & then we would have to walk the rest of the way by ourselves....we would get to Jason's house (we usually watched Friday 13th movies w/Jason in them)and start that....chachachacha...haahaahaa sounds from the movie and run as fast as we could home!!! scared the crap out of me several nights....fun fun fun!
